As a child with cerebral palsy in the late 90s and early 2000s, Television became my safe haven when things got difficult for me.
From time to time, I would spend hours watching Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, mostly if my step brother was staying with us.
To me, nostalgia means embracing your childhood and where you’ve been and having a sense of pride in those memories, perhaps using those experiences to inspire others to look outside the box.
